Hello and thanks for stopping by and checking out this fan forum for one of my favorite authors! I've been reading Nix's books since the early 2000s and have read most of his published books since then...although I've been slacking on some of the more recent releases and his collections/short stories.

I think I started with the Seventh Tower series before starting Sabriel but I really don't remember. Just that I got hooked and have followed Nix ever since. I'll have to get all my books together for a photo some day as they're scattered around my shelves and closet.

I've been running the r/garthnix subreddit for the last 11 years and a Discord server for the last four. It's a small and fun community and I decided to grow the community even more with this site. Maybe we can capture some folks from Goodreads or other users. Who knows where this venture will go.

I live on the west coast of the U.S., work in the outdoor industry, and love to play ukulele as well as board and video games. If you ever want to geek out on outdoor gear or get a game going on Board Game Arena just hit me up!

There's still a few thriving BBS sites going but the rise of single-sign-in sites like Reddit, Twitter, and Discord really showed that convenience was king. Stoked to see where it goes too.
