I'd love to implement fun ranks for forum members based on the their post count. It's a staple of classic bulletin boards but aren't sure which direction I want to go for garthnixfans.com.

Posting Ranks are an indication of how many posts have been made by a registered member on a forum. As a member makes more posts on a forum, they increase in rank. Ranks are displayed in member profiles throughout the forum. -proboards.com

Do yall have any suggestions on ranks we can implement for this site?

Some ideas: The bells starting with Ranna and getting larger, charter mage/wallmaker/abhorsen-in-waiting...etc, colors like from the Seventh Tower, weekday theming from The Keys to the Kingdom

It somewhat depends on how many ranks you want to have. Using bells or colors limits you to seven ranks. If you wanted to have more, there are a lot of potential ones from Keys to the Kingdom. The house has a lot of titles like Ink-filler, 4th class or Paper-pusher, 3rd class you could pull from.

Alternatively, you could use weekday theming in conjunction with the Dusk/Dawn/Noon titles from Keys. So start at Monday's Dusk, then Dawn, then Noon, then Tuesday's Dusk, Dawn, etc. all the way up. That'd give you 21 total ranks. I don't really know how many ranks is normal for this type of board.

I'm not sure if there is a normal quantity and can definitely be an evolving format. Mostly it's just for fun. I do like the dusk/dawn/noon idea.
